I personally hate this kind of design which is shouting like "I am edited from a web template!!!" Sorry. Plus search features is not as requested in the doc file. Please have a look at the search engine required fields.

As for the beginning, logo seems to be fine as long as we don't have any copyright problems. :). I put some comments which I really don't like. Regards.
