HI,

The objective of this contest to get super clear photo-realistic 3D designs for a room with a large sectional sofa, 2 accent chairs and ottoman coffee table.

I have attached a PowerPoint pack with pictures and description of the project. i am hopeful that this project will also give us access to top designers that we could work with in the long term... As a furniture maker we are constantly doing projects like this for our clients so it will be a pleasure to with great talent.

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for all the good work put into this contest at the time it was launched.

    I have extended this contest because i didn't get the quality of work i was expecting to see.

    I am hopeful that this extension and increase in the prize money will cause us to deliver top quality renders.

    Hi,
    I submitted a render made quite fast. Since you know what is needed to reach that quality, I am sure we can reach a deal that can be beneficial for both of us.
    The render have materials only on the sofa and blinds. The sofa materials, when your geometry will be created, will be adjusted, obviously to reach exactly the quality you need.
    Now, we will need to chat about a fair price for what you need...I hope we can hear soon...

    If you extend it I will participate in this contest. Btw the dimensions you have provided on page1 doesn't match with photos and the dimensions on page2 on the wall where the enterance doorway is and as result of that the opposite wall as well. Please check it out.. #extended

    Hi,
    Thank you as well for your interest. I admit is a rarity to see people that are describing so concise what they want as you and that's why I bothered to send you a message...Now, "accent chair 1 design" has some witting as a texture. I seen the last slide where you are mentioning the materials and thank you very much because is making everything so clear. But that writing on the above mentioned chair will be very expensive to reproduce. If you don't need that writing texture wrapped on the chair, it will take roughly 10 hours, maybe less (in function of your tastes). The render time is free of charge on my side(because I run a £2500 video card on £1500 render engine, so it will render during the night).
    So, in conclusion, you can have renders "ikea" like for 300-500$. You can wait for this contest participants if you like, but, I'm quite confident you will not find them in a contest for 150$(really sorry to disappoint).

      I understand the complexity with doing these type of designs but i am sure we can reach a compromise with regards to pricing such that it favors us both.

    Hi..i understand what you need...you want to have renders like ikea but within the space you indicated and with the exact furniture....I'm so sorry...hiper-realistic renders are made with very expensive software. the amount of work you request is for more than 150$. I hope you will increase the prize..

    Sir, do you mean that you are going to remove the separation walls of the dinning room to be opened to the living room ??? There are 2 walls (4560 mm) and (1860 mm). Please specify which wall will be removed , and Please specify the preferred height of the separation hand rails and the position of the entrance through the hand rails. Thanks for clarification.

      we do not intend to remove any of the walls. the slide and picture help to show the layout of the apartment. I expect the handrails to be about 800mm high.

      Also, the focus is on the area where the chairs would seat and the texture and look of the chairs itself. you can choose to show designs facing that area to help portray how they would look in that house. Again the biggest focus is on the chairs...the other areas of the house to is to help for proper layout where needed.
