We're Extronics, www.extronics.com.

We'd like to refresh our logo to reflect our position as a cutting edge B2B technology company, providing solutions such as wireless networking, asset tracking, worker safety, and backup power to the process industries (such as oil and gas, chemical, mining, heavy manufacturing).

Our current logo is very focused on hazardous areas, as shown by the hexagon symbol (this is specific to ATEX certification). We'd like to move away from the hexagon as we're now marketing to more and more industrial companies, but we're keeping the company name (Extronics) and colours (see attached file for more details on colours). We'd like a more modern design that's clean and uncluttered, and flexible enough to use on multiple surfaces and pieces of collateral. Ideally, there would also be an icon form, to use where there isn't enough room for the full logo.

We'd also like to be able to create secondary forms of the logo to denote our industrial (rugged) and hazardous area (certified) products, for example adding 'EX' or 'IND' and maybe some imagery like the Ex hexagon or an industrial cog.

In our industry, the term 'Ex' and the hexagon motif both mean something specific (ATEX certification for explosive atmospheres). Our company used to provide only this kind of equipment, but we're branching out and the logo needs to show that. So, I can't consider any logos with a hexagon or an emphasised 'Ex'. Thanks
