I am looking for a modern interface design for an Articulate Storyline eLearning template for compliance modules. The design interface is the most important part of this contest - so welcome all graphic designers to enter!

Modules could include workplace harassment, business ethics, conflict resolution. Typical screens would include:

Homepage with room for logo and text intro and four topics + quiz
Topic description pop up with a Start Topic button
Scenario screens
Numbered list screen
Video screen
Statistics/Bar Chart screen
Character/Interaction screen
Clickable Buttons/Icons/Images with further information
Quiz question slides (drag and drop, multiple choice, multiple response, hotspot) - with pop ups for correct and incorrect answers
Instructions/help screen
Learning outcomes screen
Results screen
Exit screen

There could be a header with room for a module title, topic screen title and button icons for Home | Resources | help screen | exit. There should also be buttons for Next and Previous in same position on each screen (don't have to use words can use icons). The logo just needs to be on the homepage.

The header does not need to be too prominent - but there needs to be a way for learners to return to Homepage, view resources and how to use the module.

The size should be 1024 x 576 which is 16:9 resolution.

I want to use the entire screen space - so content should cover entire screen. Will also be adding in illustrated or photographic characters throughout the module as either experts or scenario participants - if you can integrate placeholders for that it would be a big plus - modern looking characters only.

I will accept the final output in Storyline 2 (or above) or in PowerPoint. You can use placeholders for images or videos. I will require the assets (pngs or psd or ai) to be included (buttons, boxes, diagrams, anything integral to the overall design etc) so that if not created in Storyline I can reuse in different colours. I am okay with lorem ipsum text as placeholder for text.

Text should be minimum 12 to 14 point and the font used should be a Free font (included in final source files). I am open to any design concepts, colors should be Vibrant but harmonious. Creativity is what I am looking for here - no boring concepts please.

I have attached my company logo to be used in header/homepage. This template is for compliance modules - so geared toward a modern office environment. So any imagery used will be for modern office workers - casual business attire - not old style. Audience is small businesses - but still want it to be modern and creative.

I am open to any colour scheme - I do not want it to be old fashioned. Happy for you to use my logo colour as a primary or even the Pantone colour of the year - Living Coral (https://www.pantone.com/color-intelligence/color-of-the-year/color-of-the-year-2019).

The completed source file should contain at LEAST 10 screens - with enough design elements to allow the creation of the example screens listed above. Would need final delivery to include all source files for assets (buttons, diagrams, etc).

    Hello there, there is no much entries because of 3 main reasons:
    1- people don't join long time contests for some reason they only join the urgent ones
    2- you have given too much instruction in the contest brief
    3- this E-learning articulate is not very popular

      Hi - thanks. I was wondering what happened - I have had contests before and had heaps of entries. How am I supposed to get what I want if I don't say it all in the contest brief? I did pay extra to extend the contest as I was not getting many entries. I probably should not have done that - it is quite expensive to extend but thought it would give people more time to think about the design. Thanks for your comments...will know for next time.

    I have not picked a winner yet. The 5 star entry is modern - so I gave it 5 stars - this does not mean it will win. It is not perfect and needs several changes - but it is the closest so far.

    To clarify the entry has plenty of vibrant imagery which makes it easy to visualise a final product, it has clear previous/back buttons with a modern feel, and a crisp use of whitespace and colour. The screens are quite different in look and feel from each other but have the same design elements across all the screens so they fit really well together.

    They obviously read my contest requirements - does not meet all but enough to make it easy to ask for changes. The changes I am asking for are more about adding header buttons and seeing a quiz slide. I have no issue with the design look and feel though.

    I really want good design above all else. I don't want to have to micro manage a design - it is not up to me to create a good design - that is what the contest is all about.

    Hi - just to clarify I do NOT want a simple rehash of the examples I have given. I want a new modern interface. Please no old fashioned icons and design. Good modern design is the most important factor. But it does need to work for an eLearning module - so previous/next buttons (icons preferred) are mandatory. I will accept entries created in PowerPoint (because I can import into Storyline) but it is NOT for a presentation - it is for eLearning. Thank you.

    I have added some examples of an eLearning module in a generic format. The content is typical of the type of content I will be using for my modules - BUT I want a design that is more modern. I hope this helps explain what an eLearning module looks like and makes it easier to design a more modern template format. Thanks.

    Thanks for a thorough description. I just have few questions to ask,
    1/ What type of quiz do you like to have in the homepage? Is it a quick quiz like simple question?
    2/ Include or not a header in the homepage?
    3/ Where does "Resources" button takes you if you click on it?
    4/ Would you like to include some sound? (especially in the quizzes) Or just no sound at all?

      Hi - answers below:
      1. No quiz on the homepage. A homepage in eLearning can have a homepage which allows the learner to click on an icon/image/button to go to a topic within the module - this can incorporate several topics and sometimes a quiz. There just needs to be somewhere on the homepage for this. The quiz does not sit on the homepage itself.
      2. Header on the homepage is not needed
      3. Usually a Resources button would be a slide that could contain links to websites or to actual documents that the learner can click on
      4. I was not intending on including sound but it could be an option.

      Hi - sorry for delay. Learning Outcomes is what the learner will take away from the course. The Results screen is what you see after you have completed the quiz.
