  Life is like a dark tunnel, open yet dark,
  Hope was but a brazen spark.
  
  To ponder over and old, greasy yet brilliant oil lamp
  Acts like a bright star in the room so dark and damp.
  
  It brings the withered to the survival
  Needs nothing in return from this instinct full of power.
  
  It lightens up the blackness and makes the world gay,
  That lets everyone close to new hopes and praise.
  
  A creative being is always waited for,
  He acts like a candle and wakes those in deep snores.
  
  He keeps his eyes wide open without fearing the time of day,
  Highlights the goods and evils, whatever comes its way.
  
  All those who are sad, upset, or lack the warmth of breath
  For them, he is the hope of life in chaos and death.
  
  He helps them fight their inner thoughts,
  Brings them out of those so-called knots.
  
  Takes his time to awestruck an audience, then moves on like a shooting star,
  Leaving a mark on the hearts left amazed, still gazing to the right and far.

     really we dont understand what is happening in this platform anymore. 95% of contests stay unfinished or vanish suddenly while we deseparately wait for the cheerful "TRANSFER YOUR WINNING..."

  i dont understand what is happening exactly in this contest . the contest holder asked for translation for a piece of work , people here are bringing some poetry whiche is theirs or not , and putting it here . the others from the 4 rated entries have used translation programs and that is clear from the context and formulation of theirs sentences . weird as it is but i had to write something. this is a project for translation and not for creativity.

     This is not a project of simple translation. When you are translating a poem you have to maintain the flow in a poetic way. The translation of a poem should make sense as a poem and should look and sound like a poem. Most people here have simple passed the poem through Google Translate (the obvious and the easier way WHICH the contest holder could have used himself instead of making it worth $300) and the smarter ones have passed the Google Translated version through "Article Spinners" . THIS IS a project of creativity/understanding of poetry+translation abilities and not just the project for mere translation.
