  Ok - we have a shortlist of 4 now - not 100% happy with any - but am sure we can work to tweak the winning one. Waiting for some final feedback... but the shortlist is:
  
  #391 : polished and ready to use but lacks a custom graphical logo to be reused as an icon or avatar.
  #340 : nice but lamp would need work. Missing the "output" arm of lamp and smoke. Colours and fonts need adjusted.
  #560 : need to adjust the colours and fine tune fonts. Make the i more readable or move avatar outside of the word
  #424 : need to adjust the avatar to be more professional and switch the K to upper case.
  
  All would need to use the "Stop Searching" tag line. But would want options with and without it.
  
  Thanks everyone, lots of amazing entries. Its been really tough to narrow it down to just 4 from 500 submissions. Choosing the ultimate winner is going to be even harder - but we will decide soon.

  Thanks everyone for your time and effort.. We have started the process of shortlisting, but there are a number of people to get input from and there are alot of very good logos. We will be eliminating some in the next day - but if you have submitted plenty of entries and we eliminate one or two of yours while not eliminating others - please don't withdraw them from the contest - it could be we are trying to bring the numbers down to a more manageable size - but may when we have a much shorter, shortlist, want to look at elements of your other designs and see how they may be integrated with your designs we like to achieve the right font, colour, style, iconography etc.. If we have rejected all your designs, obviously, feel free to withdraw them... thanks again guys.. excellent contest!

     be a sport man there are still lot of contest open, its better to think of your designs to submit than mind someone else design, maybe that's the reason why you got rejected

     all three 5 stars entries are good may be inspired but not a stock pic and not being used anywhere by any brand.
     secondly for a search engine i think thin line art won't do justification...that's why many entries got 4 stars.

  I think #428 lycheedzine"s design (5 star logo here :) ) looks a lot like a stock pict. http://stocklogos.com/logo/genie. I"m sick competing against this kind of logos. I hope originality is apreciated.Thanks
