Hi Freelancers,

I would like to create a new logo for a plumbing and heating company called Select Plumbing & Heating. I have attached the existing logo which has been around for the last 20-30 years and needs updating.

The core name of the business is Select so will always need to be the focal point in the design.

In terms of creation, I would like to give free rein on whether you would like to bring the existing logo up to date.

Or if you would like to tackle a new design we would like to focus on a design that focuses on a flame and a water droplet.

Some factors that need to be taken into consideration we would need to see a version that would work on the side or rear of the red van in the attached. So the colours would need to work on the van as well as on headed paper. Maybe something that could be reserved if it’s in white on the van...

Other than this happy for you to attempt anything you wish to give a variety of choices.

Please feel free to ask any questions. I will respond as soon as I can. Finally, I would like it if the winner could provide the chosen design working files in the formats of psd. png. And jpeg format.

Added comment - please could we focus less on the pipes and cogs on the logos. One comment I’d like to make is could we look at some variations of using fire and water together. Also, some people have been using the van to add the design to please could we give an entry with it on that picture as it’s really helpful?

Hi to all could I add could we have less focus on pipes cogs and taps and look for more the fire and water? Could we also look at a designs that would work on the van that is pictured please? A few have placed it on the van which is really helpful

Are you the only decision maker or there are others as well, I need to know so that I can finalise that these will be the final thoughts about the logo from the company's(your) perspective, if there are others involved in decision then please provide their inputs too.
