Instrukce k soutěži

My name is Samer Chidiac & I'd like to create a Logo for my name;

- The best description of what I'm looking for would be with the Author Robin Sharma's Logo, which I attach as a sample - PLEASE DON'T COPY IT - (and you can google Robin Sharma Logo and you will see more examples); or the celebrity Nadine Njeim (attached).

- Please do some research and spend time on the design, I'm not going to accept logos with just my name in a different font... NEED MORE on that.

- I would like 2 versions of the logo, (similar to the attached, but not a split screen Logo.): One showing my Full name "Samer Chidiac" and one showing my Initials "SC"

- Possible usage of The logo could be on a Book / Website / Video / Music Album / Podcast

- I'm OK with the logo being in colors or in Black & White. but in all either case I will need a pure black edition and a pure white edition)

- The output delivery will be the Source file (Photoshop or Illustrator) and a Transparent High resolution PNG Including Fonts Used.

PS: I'm a very good researcher & I Expect ORIGINAL Work, if I did notice that the logo was a copy from another person's work, I will immediately report the freelancer and they will face the consequences of their actions.

    Hello Everyone, First of all, thank you for participating in the Contest!

    So far, I haven't seen an entry that STANDS OUT, so please keep trying and Do some research and try to work out on your ideas to make it more unique.

    Please RE-READ the description of the project. and check the samples I attached (BUT DON'T COPY THE SAMPLE) .

    Entries that only have the name written with a different font, and/or that has a template copied from the internet, I am giving it a 1 Star or REject. So please don't send me 10 different logo, but work 10 times on enhacing ONE Logo.

      Excellent choice !!! Do not entertain any requests from freelancers to "seal" the contest ... as there will be a very high probability that you'll just end up with a generic logo that no one can report against. Appealing for 'sealing' is a common tactic that they know works to hide behind. If they have serious design skills, it costs them only 50 cents to seal their own entry .. problem is that they might end up submitting so many generic entries per person, that that amount tends to rack up. So they burden the CH with the sealing cost.
      It's neither fair to you nor to designers who actually put in effort in their designs. I know this as a fact cos in 2 yrs of entering contests I've seen it happen many times over. Yes, you can always avoid rating or reject or even report generic entries, but how would you know what is generic & what is not unless it is pointed out by others or unless you research it yourself? Sealing eliminates all chances of reporting defrauding entries.

    Forgive me for saying this CH but you are still rating sh*tty generic entries despite your caution in the brief. Am glad you didn't seal the contest cos then you'd definitely be stuck with a generic logo. And youd be effd for sure. Maybe you still will ..I don't know. I'm not saying I will enter, but it just angers me to see CH's being ripped off. All i can wish u is good luck!
