  Designer with username LittleJon copied the idea from http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/131004. This is very unacceptable especially that the said logo is owned already. It's ok to be inspired by other's work but please don't copy entirely then claim it your own. You are a designer, you must be creative enough. Otherwise, you can't be welcomed in this industry.

  CH can you tell us for what the app is going to be used?
  A chatting program or file sharing?
  It is very essential to know for what we are working :)
  A pug face might be nice but I don't think there is something quite "remarkable"
  in one pug face :)
  If you want some creative results( and be sure, there would be), please tell us more about your app :)

     That is the problem with using a single photo to trace or for reference - it's entirely possible that another similar logo exists.
     
     Still, I mean, you cut the pug in half and tipped over one side just like michael spitz's well known logo. Clearly overly inspired.

  Hi jkl1! careful - you can not trademark traces of images that the designer does not own and therefor can not transfer. eg: #120 #135 #137 #136 each are using the same image which is not owned by either designer.
