***** FULL CONTEST DETAILS FOR BITCOIN TO KM.TXT *****

Please be sure to read the attachment to this contest called, “Full contest details for Bitcoin to KM.txt”

***** SUMMARY *****

Please do not let the title of this contest fool you. This is not an easy contest.

I want you to teach me how to *cheaply* and *easily* convert 50 US dollars worth of Bitcoin into KM (the Bosnia-Herzegovina Convertible Mark)

***** WHAT YOU NEED TO SUBMIT*****

Contestants need to submit the following FOUR things:

—ONE—
One hundred words or *fewer* (not more than one hundred words)

—TWO—
A total of ten different websites or *fewer* (not more than eight websites) in all of your submissions. If you first submission has four websites, you may reuse any or all of those websites in your second and third submissions but you may only add six different websites (new websites ) to your second and third submissions.

—THREE—
One single method (with not more than three minor variations) which describes the entire process a freelancer living in Bosnia and Herzegovina would need to go through, from beginning to end, so that he would finally have actual Bosnia-Herzegovina Convertible Mark (KM) cash (paper money) in his hands.

What do I mean by a minor variation? Let us imagine that you describe the process as: A to (B or C) to D to E to (F or G or H). In that case, (B or C) and (F or G or H) would be minor variations.

and

—FOUR—
Freelancer.com only allows contest submissions to be images. Therefore, along with your submission please copy and paste the text and the links associated with your submission into a text message (or, if necessary, multiple text messages) which you send me so that I will not need to transcribe the text from the image you submit.

As I indicated the attachment to this contest called, “Full contest details for Bitcoin to KM.txt”...

    ***** MY PROBLEM *****

I want to pay freelancers who I find on other websites—not here on Freelancer.com but rather on other websites—with a virtual currency (such as Bitcoin). I intend to pay them daily. Initially I intend to pay them 10 US dollars each day....

... I assume most of these freelancers will want to very quickly and very easily convert this virtual currency into Bosnia-Herzegovina Convertible Mark (KM). Let us assume they would be willing to wait until the end of the week, after I had paid them, 50 US dollars to convert to Bosnia-Herzegovina Convertible Mark (KM).

Please do not provide me with an internet fantasy about a freelancers who you have read about. I am extremely unlikely to end up working with a digital nomad https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_nomad—living in Chiang Mai in Thailand and enjoying the local delights— who transacts much of his business with Bitcoin....

.... I am focused on ordinary people who live in Bosnia and Herzegovina who have ordinary needs. For example, I assume that when the freelancers I work with will go to a local grocery store in Sarajevo they will buy bread or cheese with KM (cash, paper money). Or when the pay their landlord in Banja Luka their monthly rent they will pay him with KM.

Freelancer.com user "jasmintoro" is maligning me based on either a misunderstanding or his paranoia. He probably did not read the contest details (including the attachment). Whatever the case, he clearly does not grasp what I am trying to do. I am trying to essentially "hand cash" to someone who lives very far away from me on a daily basis for one to four hours of work. Bitcoin looks like it might be the cheapest and easiest way to do that. If I do not use Bitcoin I will probably have an ATM sent to engineers I intend to work with on a daily basis in the Western Balkans or use PayPal. But both of those methods seem like they are more expensive. If my money transfer fees go up, the wages I pay will go down. Canada? Huh? The Western Balkans has excellent European engineers willing to work for low wages. That is why the Western Balkans. Everything I am posting here on Freelancer is essentially public information. Why would I want to teach my competition how to do what I am doing?

Freelancer.com user "jasmintoro" has apparently indulged in an internet fantasy. 20 US dollars each day would be at most about 7000 US dollars per year. What sort of terrorist would bother to go to all of this effort to send a mere 7000 US dollars per year? Sure. Terrorists use Bitcoin. But not like this.

i assume that you do not particularly need your bitcoins be converted to KM, since you did not refuse exchange your bitcoins in Croatia or somewhere else. also I don’t know the reason why would you exchange 50$ weekly / 200$ monthly because if you have low amount of bitcoins, fees are just going to eat you out on that amount in Bosnia as much as anywhere in the world.
However, if you have bigger amount of bitcoins, and want to convert it specifically in bosnia, it is logical that you should have be aware that the most rentable way to exchange it were opening a company in Bosnia and legally convert all your bitcoins to KM, and in smaller amount return it to US. Capital Return Tax in Bosnia is 10% which makes it one of the lowest in Europe so conversion costs wouldn’t be that much on bigger amounts.

Having that said, anyone who understand financial market can identify this act as a potential “Money loundry” which is against all laws in the world. Quiet indicative is that, that you want to frequently exchange small amounts like 200 $ a month, and in financial compliance practice, such small amounts of money laundering is very comparable to terrorist financing.
Since you have no name, record or reference who you are it would be lunatic to even talk with you about this topic.
I suggest my good fellow Bosnians to keep away from this contest, and from such contest in general. You have a lot of requirements, and for some pennies you are not telling what are you getting people into, other than that no one knows who you are.
I am more than referent to give you any such comments, because I have been working in Germany in finance and banking sector for the last 5 years.

    ***** TWO DUPLICATES *****

All of your submissions may contain a total of two websites from *all* of the submissions from other contestants (of course, not including your previous submissions which you may copy partially or completely).

For example, if you saw a first user’s submission that contained A to B to C to D to E and and a second user’s submission that contained Q to R to T to U to V your submission could contain up to TWO of those letters (such as, for example, B and U or T and V). That would *not* be stealing. That would be copying within the rules of this contest....

...However, in general I will give strong preference to submissions that do not copy elements (items) from other user’s submissions. That is I will tend to penalize (yet not necessarily eliminate) submissions that are essentially derivations of other user’s submissions because I do not want to penalize people who submit helpful submissions which other people then improve with a slight refinement....

... This rule is intended reduce yet allow some copying of websites from other submissions. This rule is intended to balance “cross pollination” (copying) on the one hand with protection for those who originally submit original websites on the other hand. It is necessarily an imperfect compromise.

You should post this in projects, not in the contest. In projects, you will probably get a better response than here. But this is only my opinion.

"Better response" does not necessarily mean better results. I appreciate your opinion but I had a miserable experience posting a research project on as a project on Freelancer. The freelancer did a terrible job but still wanted to be paid. I paid him because I felt bad for him but I confirmed my prediction that that method would fail. Also this is not intended to be a research project. If someone knows a good method for doing what I want, I want them to teach me. If I were to pay you 25 USD you would be unlikely to give me useful yet you would naturally want to be paid. Bottom Line: I doubt there is an easy way to do what I want because the government of Bosnia & Herzegovina seems to be opposed to Bitcoin.

Below are my comments for the submission from Freelancer.com user “Irnes S.”

I rated this submission with three stars. However, I might change the number of stars depending on other submissions which I might receive.

    >> The way to convert / sell BTC to KM (BAM)

    >> STEP ONE

    >> Bosnia and Herzegovina don't have many ways to get or convert BTC to KM.

I hope that assertion is incorrect but I realize that it might be correct.

    >> A Wirex card was a good option but it's banned from October 2017 because Bosnia is out of EU.

That seems like it is probably useful information.

    >> An exchange card should follow this card but that process is still in progress.

Depending on the fees associated with having and using such an “exchange card,” it might be of interest to me. But at this point apparently such an exchange card does not exist....

...>> The nearest ATM exchange services are in Croatia (Zagreb, Split, Rijeka) and Serbia (Belgrade).

I appreciate that information. However, as I presume you realize this would probably be much too inconvenient for most of the freelancers I am imagining that I would be likely to work with Bosnia and Herzegovina because they would likely need to travel perhaps one to four hours to exchange the Bitcoin equivalent of 50 US dollars each week.

In “Full contest details for Bitcoin to KM.txt” I indicated “For example it is certainly possible to travel from Paris to London via Buenos Aires but that route would very rarely be a practical solution.” I was exaggerating in the hopes of making my point clearly. Apparently in this case I failed....

... >> The best way, for now, looks like selling BTC to local buyers in Bosnia.

This is *unwelcome* information because in the project description I mentioned explicitly mentioned LocalBitcoins and explicitly and dismissed LocalBitcoins as a viable means of exchanging Bitcoin to KM. Your suggestion of “selling BTC to local buyers in Bosnia” is merely the general approach—which I think of as “sell Bitcoins directly”—that subsumes the particular approach of using LocalBitcoins.

    >> Based on that, for 50USD (83.09 KM) you need to spend about 0,00288 BTC.

I do not need this information. I can easily find exchange rates on Google by using a search like this:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=50USD+to+btc&oq=50USD+to+btc&aqs=chrome..69i57.2784j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

    STEP TWO: Some useful sources:

    >> 1)https://crypto.ba/t/ne-mogu-uradit-isplatu-novca-u-bih/641t

    ... >> 2)https://localbitcoins.com/country/BA

It was unnecessary to mention localbitcoins.com to me because in “Full contest details for Bitcoin to KM.txt” I indicated:

“It is very likely that the method you suggest to me will work but I will likely disqualify it and pay you nothing whatsoever because it is, for example too much time and effort for the recipient or too expensive. For example, let us presume that using a website such as localbitcoins.com to convert, say, 50 US dollars to KM (the Bosnia-Herzegovina Convertible Mark) would be normally be too much hassle.”

    >> 3) http://coin.ba/

This link does *not* seem valuable to me.

This link does *not* seem valuable to me.

    ... >> 5) https://crypto.ba/t/kupovina-btc-preko-netellera/1019/4

This link does *not* seem valuable to me.

    >> 6) https://spectrocoin.com/en/bitcoin-debit-card.html (it seems that this is working in Bosnia)

This link seems valuable to me. I see that Bosnia and Herzegovina are supported https://spectrocoin.com/en/countries.html

However, “ATM withdrawal in domestic currency” on https://spectrocoin.com/en/bitcoin-debit-card.html seems like a vague way of implying, “We will gouge you (charge you high fees) on the exchange rates.”

    >> STEP THREE: How to get KM from Bitcoin

Since Bosnia is really limited, the best way is to get some debit card which is supported (check sources above) or to contact a local person and to sell Bitcoin directly. The detailed process explained in source Urls. Unfortunately, no ATM services available except in Croatia and Serbia.
