For this, I envision photographs of individual/groups of classmates come onto the screen, one or two at a time, then drifting into the background to eventually populate a larger mosaic photograph of the whole class that would gradually come into view. Lately, however, since I began running Windows XP within my Mac, the TIFs i get aren't transparent. I used to know a tweak in Photoshop that allowed me to make them transparent, but I've forgotten it. I create publications in Pagemaker 7 for Windows. (Before I installed Windows on my Ma...sure enough, if I proceed with the saving, there is no transparency. In the attachments to this project, the file 4 note has a transparent background, that functions fine in Pagemaker. So too does the BMP file Flute Fingering diagram.bmp. The 3rd file, Cuckoo, is not transparent, but I want it to be. I create many TIF files from my Finale software, but they are all opaque backgrounds, and there is no way to change this in Finale. So I need someone to explain to me how to edit the TIFs so that they arrive in Pagemaker with transparency. The keyboard has to have the same diagram as the actual instrument. It has to have either preloaded lessons (I can provide those as well) or have the ability to read music sheet from progams like Finale. Copying the dynamic markings from the JPG files onto the Finale file. A few are already there, but I want all of them on the finished edition. You will need Finale 2011.
