Project Description: The objective of this project is to develop a model that can accurately reconstruct the masked regions of fingerprint images. I will provide the complete dataset for this work. The dataset will consist of two folders: Ground Truth / Complete Fingerprint Images – original, unmasked fingerprint images. Input Images – fingerprint images with artificially applied masks (black masked regions). The model should learn from the complete fingerprint images and reconstruct the missing ridge patterns in the masked areas of the input images.
