This project is for a illustration for a children's book. Job is being used to find artist(s) to work on many more illustrations over the next 2 months.
Results from this project will determine award of future work. This job may be awarded to more than one bidder.
For the illustration a file has been added with samples of 3 characters.
The characters are Betsy (girl), Cooldude (wearing glasses and yellow shirt with blue, green and red triangles) Willie (green and white stripped shirt)
The illustration must be done preferably in illustrator but photoshop will also be considered. Each character must be on a seperate laye.
The proportions should be 8.5 x 11 (portrait).
We are looking for a more modern version of the characters but they must remain very recognizable.
The kids need to be around 5 or 6 years old in their bathing suits at a beach.
The 3 kids are prominent in the front of the scene.
Betsy is standing in the center facing forward holding the string to a kite and waving.
Cooldude is sitting to the right and pointing at Betsy's elbow.
Willie is sitting on the left side of Betsy playing in the sand.
A little way behind the kids (less prominent) is a parent sitting under an umbrella reading a book (you need to create this character based on the same style as the kids).
