I want to have someone search Indiegogo, Kickstarter and other crowdfunding websites/sources.
To find out what successful crowdfunded projects do to reach their goal for a local brick and mortar business startup.
Here are some of the things I want specifics on:
-What's the average funding($) goal that succeeds? As well as a range of what has been successfully funded for perspective on the scale of the different projects.
-I want to see what kind of perks or prizes are offered and what's the average level of interest between the lowest perks for a minimum donation/investment to the higher more valuable perks/prizes in exchange for the higher priced donations.
---- For this, it may be best illustrated through a pie chart or another graphic showing what percentage of the funds came from the different levels of donations. For example: 50% of the funds were funded at the $20 dollar level, while 40% came from the $50 level and the remaining 10% came from the top prize/perk at the $100 level
-What did the projects offer AFTER they reached their goal and still had time to raise more money before that campaign was over. If that information is obtainable.
- What was the level of video production(on a scale of 1-5, 1=poor vs 5=professional grade) for the campaign promo video that was posted on the campaigns crowdfunding page.
-If possible I'd like to have in-depth articles/content that describe different cases of successful campaigns as well as tips for what NOT to do in a crowdfunding campaign for a local business.
-Marketing tactics for social media, local press, overall PR etc
The main goal in all of this is to find real world case studies and tactics used to launch a successful local business via crowdfunding. If you can present any additional quality information you feel is necessary that I haven't asked for here and it's really powerful tactics or lessons. I'll throw in a nice tip as an incentive. As much as doubling the total project's payout to you as the researcher.
