I have worked with Python before to generate an intranet search engine for a local network, so I have experience in using Python to crawl and mine salient data from webpages. I plan to use a spider to first crawl the related webpages, and then use Beautiful Soup along with string matching methods on the keywords you want to extract the specific information you are looking for. If what you want is a more general database to store the required information for later recall, I will use Whoosh to index the data.
