Image Stitching in VB.net
I am looking for some help in stitching a bunch of images together. We will NOT know how many images will be taken because it depends on the part.
We have a camera mounted on a robot. The view angle is smaller than the part. We want to scan the part in a grid and then stitch the images together to create one big image of the part. They will be in a 2D grid.
Attached is an example how we will scan the work area. We will take this path. There will be more or less than a hundred photos depending on the part. We need to stitch all the pictures together to make one. The rows and column will not be fixed. There will be a folder of all the pictures named 1 to X (depends on the part and we will not know ahead of time) that will need to be scanned and stitched.
This will need to be programmed in VB.net. This will be integrated to another program so it should be easy to interface to.
