• Wordpress Multisite needs installing and an easy way of managing the featured posts on the main front page.
• At the moment there are four sections per ‘Hobby/category’ News, Events, Competitions & Days Out. Each mini WP site needs to be dedicated to one hobby and needs the sections above on these websites just like the main hobbynetwork.co.uk front page.
• The ‘find a hobby’ page needs to be a nice picture for the individual websites instead of the latest posts. On the front page, we have a widget in the sidebar with some of our Hobbies, we need to be able to control this better.
• Instead of specifying whether a post is news, events etc via the tags function, can it be easier so a separate posts function for news, events, competitions & days out.
• On events and days out, we need a really simple way of getting a google maps map in the posts. But as our editors are technical, they need to be able to add the map from the posts section.
• A nice easy way of creating new websites as part of the multisite.
• Anything else you can think of, let me know
