At Ohrna, we create trendy handmade products which are sustainably produced, beautifully designed, and celebrate heritage Indian crafts, to generate income for our rural women artisans who are homebound.
Who we are looking for
A Pune based enthusiastic, hardworking, multi-faceted, self-motivated woman who would enjoy working in a startup environment. You will start initially working one day per week.
The selected person would be comfortable working in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision. We see this as a growth role as the needs of the organization evolve so she must be comfortable taking on added responsibilities as required.
Requirements
Pune based person to join initially in a part time capacity (1 day per week) and to thereafter grow, depending on interest and abilities
Organized, detail-oriented, motivated and efficient with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is a self-starter
1 year work experience preferred
Commerce ([login to view URL]) background preferred
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point
English communication skills along with a willingness to learn
Basic photo editing and social media interest and/or skills will be a plus
Your Role and Responsibilities
Assist founder and CEO in operational tasks: general administration, managing accounts, billing, expense tracking, recording, vendor coordination, purchasing, work planning etc. and any other associated jobs that maybe required

I’m Ma. Theresa Biocos, a graduate of Ateneo de Davao University, with a degree of Business administration major in Management. I previously worked as a Procurement officer for 3 years, in one of the established hardware and ironmongeries company (METALLIC EQUIPMENT, LLC) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab of Emirates. • Issue request for quotation (RFQ) based on the purchase requisition from different company department.
• Study in detail the quotation received from various suppliers to ensure that every element of the required item to purchased has meet the specific standard required and if possible haggle for better price and shorten the production time.
• Produce purchase order (PO) based on the approved quotation from the supplier.
• Monitor orders made to guarantee that the production will meet the lead time required.
• Arranged shipment from port to port and gather all necessary papers required for clearance and fees.
• Notify all concerned department if orders will arrive pass thru the deadline or ahead.
Furthermore, I also worked as a showroom secretary, before I got promoted as a Procurement officer. Which gave me an experience on handling irate customers and some admin task needed.
