Hi, I am working on a project setting up a LidarLite 3V to activate a relay at a predetermined distance. I have constructed several sketches that will compile but my understanding of the Lidar input value is lacking. Arduino Nano A000005 Micro-controller LidarLite V3 (5v, SDA/A4, SCL/A5, GND) 1 Channel Relay Module (5v, IN1/11, GND) Lidar is running with no issue, I just do not understand the I2C data call routine. The relay module attached to digital pin 11 should activate the relay at 15 meters (1500 cm). The hardware is very simple. I have included the Lidar data sheet for review.

pretty straight forward task, you can simply use a library for the i2c com and use a single line of code for getting the distance data from the lidar and after getting that it is just the case of using a state condition to switch the relay on or off based on the distance .
