Pro soccer player looking to create wiki page : Shane McInerney is an Irish professional footballer currently playing for Austrailian side Magpies Crusaders in the NPL league. McInerney grew up playing football in Ireland and was capped internationally for Ireland at U15 and U18 level. In 2012, at the age of 19, he moved to USA on a soccer scholarship. Before moving stateside, McInerney played in the League of Ireland Premier Division with Galway United FC. College Career - He spent one year at Monroe Community College in New York then spent three years at Keiser University in West Palm Beach, FL. On his senior year in 2016, McInerney was named NAIA All American, Defensive Player of the year for the Sun Conference and First Team All Conference. Professional - In July 2016, he spent some time on trial at Cork City in the League of Ireland Premier Divison playing in friendly games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham FC but was not offered a contract with the Irish side. In August, 2016 McInerney signed for Linkoping City FC in Division One Sweden. In February 2018, McInerney signed for Jacksonville Armada FC in Florida. On December 19th 2018, Austrailian side Magpies Crusaders FC annnouned they had signed the Irish Central defender for the 2019 season.

To determine if McInerney article will endure without being deleted we must determine if McInerney is considered notable according to Wikipedia's rules. To do that, I need you to answer me one question. Did he actually play for Galway United FC in at least one League of Ireland Premier Division match? Because this is the only fully pro league he ever played. Jacksonville Armada FC is considered a pro team and was playing in a pro league, but in 2018 this league was in a hiatus and the Armada played in a non-pro league.
