Lesson Plan Writer Developer/Curriclum Designer Must have Familiarity with Orton-GIllingham or ELA

Our company has been around since 2007 providing schools and individuals with reading intervention solutions for both their instructors and their students. We are looking for a curriculum lesson plan developer for a series of books being developed for in-school use. The ideal candidate is someone with a background in education, specifically someone with experience teaching reading/ELA, special education or as an elementary school teacher, however, this is NOT required. We are looking for someone who is well versed in the Orton-Gillingham method, and either has obtained a certificate of completion for an Orton-Gillingham course or is certified in Orton-Gillingham. We will also consider those with a strong background in reading intervention. Please note that this work may be extended. The work you complete will be the intellectual property of our company and will require the signing of a contract to begin working. Here is what we need: Write a series of 150-200 lessons Each lesson will be between 35-45 minutes Lessons should be written with the idea that each student is between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. There are 4 levels of instruction, each level needs 50 lessons, which are broken down into two lessons per week Develop lessons based on a scope and sequence provided Include materials necessary to implement lessons Conduct research on the national standards of reading. Develop lessons using the Orton-Gillingham methods’ lesson plan outline (we provide) Each lesson should be based on a weekly schedule and follow the scope and sequence provided We will be asking you to work on the lessons in order of level 1,2,3,4 We would like to begin and close this position within 3 weeks. You will be required to complete the work in a cloud file that we will provide. Payment is on a weekly basis and may be extended into other, similar projects in the very near future.
