Truth is... Finding the right person to write your brands content, can be just as awkward as preparing for a blind date. You rarely know what to expect.
Believe it or not, even for someone like myself (11 years of copywriting experience, worked on international campaigns, written TV spots), finding the right type of client can be equally as challenging. You'd be surprised at how many businesses are unwilling to invest in professional copy.
For many consumers, whether it be your slogan, a 30 sec commercial, or even the verbiage you use to describe your products & services, it's their first (and sometimes last) impression of whom you are as a brand. Think about it... In your lifetime, how many 2nd chances have you had after a bad first impression? And why wouldn't you stack the cards in your favor by keeping your potential customer engaged from the very beginning?
That's why it's important to hire the right person, to help you "effectively" communicate your message to your target audience.
