BEEEEP! Your alarm goes off. You smash the snooze button and pull the covers over your head. You stayed up late watching Netflix again, and you’re paying for it now! Finally, you get up, take a quick shower, and hurry to your breakfast. You live just a few blocks from your office, but you still catch a ride on the bus.
Later that night, while in bed, you think back on the day. You remember a blog article about exercising an hour a day. You were busy, but you don’t feel like you got that much physical activity what could you have done differently?
Control your day
Start with a plan. Take a look at you daily schedule. It probably feels like you’re in autopilot: Sleep, eat, work. Be creative! You can find ways to fit in one hour of physical activity.

The second key is getting enough protein and fiber. Protein and fiber work together to keep your body working correctly. Protein can be found in fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy. Fiber is found in vegetables, fruits and whole grains.

Being active has its benefits. But with any activity, there are a few risks. By training correctly and using the right equipment, you can reduce the chance of injury. Stretch well before and after your workout.
Set goals
Now we got the basics. Set personal goals for yourself. What can you do today? What can you do this week? Be realistic, think short term and keep it simple.
