I have been responsible for creating many bash scripts for distributing files across hundreds of systems. I will build a modular script that accepts a file name for distribution, a destination path, a host file (for a list of systems to push the file to), an output file to record results. The script will also allow the auditing of the file for future monitoring and compliance checking. The script will be reusable for other file distribution methods.
