Currently I use PowerStrip from [url removed, login to view] to write EDID headers (stored in hexadecimal text files) to our flat panel monitors. I've written a program to accept serial number input and write out the hex values into the files but want to get away from PowerStrip to write the data up to the monitor heads. I just can't get a grasp on the DDC/CI protocol using .NET All I want is an executable (command-line driven - no interaction) which reads the standard format EDID header file ([url removed, login to view]) and writes it to the LCD head. Not to sound redundant, but to be clear, the EDID data needs to be written to the HARDWARE HEAD, not just to the Windows registry. My budget is $50 and I need the source code along with the built 32-bit .exe for MS Windows XP/VISTA. Hoping somebody here can break my days of frusteration. Thank you.
