I have a Kinect for Window (v2) sensor. I want a Windows 8.1/10 tool creating that
1) initialises the Kinect and reads/displays the depth stream from the camera
2) provide an easy interface to configure up to 128 specific pixel coordinates ("hotspots") within that depth stream. The interface should allow the user to click anywhere in the image to place a hotspot, and if the user clicks and drags an existing hotspot, it will be moved to the new location. Hotspots can be deleted, too, by alt-clicking on an existing hotspot. The coordinates of all hotspots should be recorded in an .ini file that sits alongside the tool, to allow easy editing later if needed.
3) whilst running, broadcasts via UDP the depth values of those specific pixel coordinates using a simple but agreed UDP packet format
The tool *must* be bulletproof robust, and be capable of running forever without crashing. The tool should run on everything from Windows 8.1 up to the latest Windows 10. The tool must work with the official Kinect for Windows SDK. The tool will not support the original Kinect hardware, only the v2 hardware.
