Attached is a picture of a 2d scatter graph where the black points are valid and form a rectangle and the blue points are noise that needs to be filtered out. The red circle indicates the (0,0) point of the scatter graph. The valid points will always form a rough rectangle. The noise points will not have any relation to the valid points. The (0,0) centerpoint will always be on the inside of the rectangle. The task is to create class in C++ that can take a simple array of points and filter out the points which have no statistical relationship to the rectangle. In better words, get rid of the noise. The array will contain only (x,y) coordinates. We will supply valid point files that contain 6-7 scenarios that can be tested to see if the class works. This is a high priority project and preference will be given to the programmer that can take this project immediately and articulate an approach we believe can work.
