Mechanical design of an electromechanical sexual health device

This project is for a small medical device company located in Virginia, USA. The company has already manufactured other devices, this project is a redesign of a device that was designed in the early 1990s. Our goal is to improve on a few key areas - notably: cost of manufacture, noise reduction, general usability and durability. We already have a manufacturing partner, electronic design and development team and industrial design. We are looking for a mechanical designer to bridge the gap between ID and production. We already have a quite resolved ID CAD file, electronics design (motor, PCB, circuitry and battery assembly) and a crude first prototype. We have a clear direction for how we need the project to mature - but we need mechanical engineering support to evaluate the design, build parametric CAD files (ready for production), advise on material selection, iterate the mechanical design after 1-3 rounds of prototyping and also contribute to weekly meetings as the project evolves. These meetings will be held online ([login to view URL]), so remote support is totally acceptable. Our ideal partner will have proven experience in this field with good examples of similar styled products that have successfully gone to market. Specific files and details will be provided after the right partner is chosen and we've signed NDAs etc.
