Data Management App/Algo for a config file --- should pull symbols from a website based on specified criteria, then makes adjustments/fine tuning based on additional info. -- 2

---Project should be an APP that runs in Windows ---Programmer should have at least working knowledge of the stock market/symbols/shares/exchanges. --I do not have a preferred programming language for the app, it should have a gui for adjustments in addition to its own config file for adjustments to criteria, and a way to upload symbols and symbol profit data in order to make adjustments. ---They should also be open to later version improvements/future work if production goes smoothly. App should be able to: -Add symbols from [login to view URL] with last price to config with x default parameters and specified exchange-- note on "day added" (Parameters include Price range (such as ">$3" and "<$300"), Average Volume/price such as ("500,000 shares/$25 stock price = 20,000 value") having a parameter for that value range, a SEPARATE parameter for average volume by itself (such as ">300,000"), - added symbols exclude etfs and certain sectors or industries (like biotechnology) Confirm not already on either account symbol list before adding symbols (spot to copy/paste other list of symbols) (Can have list of blocked symbols not to be added) While adding, put current date added in notes section of config. Put defined quantity (30) for starting amt Put corresponding exchange symbol and group-- if Nasdaq exchange, nasdaq group. If finance sector change symbol group to finance. -- fine tuning part of algo-- Algo compares different time frames for symbol profitability (such as 5 mo 7 mo 2 month) (user will manually upload timeframes) If changes made update "last changed" in notes If symbol "last changed" > 3 months ago, calculate potential adjustments such as if unprofitable x months AND y months, widen steps, update notes to last updated and widen- EXCEPTION--if "news" mentioned in notes, skip-- if quantity > 1000 or set to 0 recommend lowering quantity (If last changed is < (X) months defined in config, such as 3, do not adjust) Last changed is any adjustment such as widening or tightening. (Added symbols that are unprofitable can be widened if at least Y timeframe such as at least 1 month) (Confirm existing notes don't conflict... w, widen wi vs t ti tit tighten --- any notes with W in it consider marked widen, and any notes with T considered tighten) Have all changes needed to be manually confirmed by user, with option to auto confirm Symbols added over y months ago not traded, tighten step parameters by .01 (and adjust existing note or add new note entry) Confirm symbol is still traded on exchange/ suggest deletion for symbols no longer traded (algo checks yahoo finance etc) Lower quantity by 50% for symbols widened parameters (rounded to nearest 1 share, if max quantity = 0, adjust to 500) Increase quantity for profitable symbols not to exceed (x) amount for (y) group (will be different from biotech to general Nasdaq) (x amount is (last price)*(share amount)... also if that total > than (z) amount (such as if > 2000), put 0. If quantity under under utilized say < 100 shares trade over 3 months and quantity is > 1000 (or 0, which means default value), lower quantity-- say half (and make note) Have all adjustments for the current adjustment session highlighted in the UI, to confirm before saving.
