I’m looking for someone to write political news posts regarding leaks. Not just US, but can delve into global news items if interesting or impactful enough. You have to read political related news on a daily basis already, and be active on Twitter. The latter is a must as most leak news stem from social media. Native English speaking only. As leaks within the political landscape are sensitive we have to focus on reporting only, we’re not WikiLeaks. Hence we can’t have opinion based reports either. The post needs to be somewhat mainstream, such as “Alex Jones’ lawyers accidentally leak years of emails”. But never go into celebrity or gossip related leaks. Over time you and I will find a rhythm and a general consensus as what to post and not to. We will start with one post daily (5 posts per week), with at least 200 words per post. It will also include adding an appropriate image, and if needed - Embed tweets or videos. The content is to be published on The Leak, an upcoming news site which covers gaming, tech, politics and more. It stems from the makers of Has it Leaked, a music platform which has run for 10 years and has been featured on BBC World, New York Times, Vice among many more. See an early build at [login to view URL] Send me the Twitter accounts you would follow in order to look for interesting political leaks (not major news publications such as New York Times, but people who tend to leak interesting news), or Subreddits, Facebook groups you participate in. You also need to include a writing of yours, your age and the fee you would charge per post. Native English speaking only.
