Need an expert Drupal developer to make improvements and perform tasks to the following website: [login to view URL] In short, I need small changes made to the current site and a modified copy of the current site made in a sub-directory. Tasks to the current site include: - FIRST, creating a backup of the existing site and upload it to Dropbox account also (I will provide). Backups must be made before the task can start and developer should be able to restore the site and all user data in the event something goes wrong. - Adding search box at top right of page in the main header (across the site) - Create “Login” & “Log Out” access buttons at top right of the site in the main header (just left of the new search box and across the site) - The current site does not allow for current users to login from the homepage (login page is [login to view URL]) - Need to add feature to prevent spam/bot account registration at all points of registration (i.e. mailing list sign-up or making a donation Details about the copy-site task are as follows: -We will be replacing this site in ~5 months with a WordPress site so I need to create a COPY of this site in a new (sub)directory so that users can login to view their old order history (our new site will not be showing it) - The sub-directory site can just be a copy of the current site that is stripped down to have only the user login page and the order history pages - Users should be able to login with the same username and password as used presently - This copy site will be just for informational purposes and not meant to accept new orders or registrants I expect that the developer will allow some minor feedback at the end in case some small changes are needed in the final product. - Thanks

Changes are inevitable and its not possible to predict all needed changes beforehand. I do understand this and hence, I allow 4 hours extra with every project where the project owner can ask for small changes that were not discussed before. Though 4 hours is more than enough for small changes, with Drupal small tasks sometimes becomes very difficult to cope with. I can understand why you want to move to wordpress from Drupal and I must say that you have taken a correct decision. Your site seemed to be informational and Wordpress is more suitable for the same. Anyways, here is how I will fulfill your requirements: - I will take the back up and I will set it up on my server first and work there first so live site is not impacted. This will also ensure the back up is correct. - I will place Drupal core search block on the top of every page. Drupal search block is developed by Drupal itself and hence chances of errors are less. - Need to change the template in order to include the login block there. Though it should be easy and Drupal provided function drupal_get_form('user_login_block') should be able to do that. - For captcha prevention, I would use the latest technology from Google that is Google ReCaptcha or Math Captcha which has been very successful of late in preventing spams. Copying the site to subdirectory may require some work and if the current URLs are hardcoded in the website it would basically mean we will have to change each and every page. I will copy the

I have seen your website. Your current website is made in drupal 7 using the blacksea theme. Adding user login functionality to the website is not difficult as it is one of the default features of drupal. Adding search box just requires enabling the search box. Similiarly enabling user login from front page only involves enabling user menu. I have already made changes regarding search box and user menu on my local server.
