Sensor Base Design

A few edits needed to make on the sensor base: Mount for Arduino Mount for mini breadboard MAYBE holes for wires to go through to the bottom of the platform rather than go around Shorter stilts Remove excess plastic to the sides where no sensors are mounted (a small lip around the outside is good but we should try to reduce volume and mass) Temp & RH Sensor: I think the current bracket for it would be covering up the wire connections. I will send you a picture of each sensor just to be sure. Perhaps we could keep the area small by putting the Arduino and maybe the breadboard underneath the main platform of the sensor base. The Arduino board is an Arduino Mega 2560 (which I'm sure there are CAD models for online) - it has 4 holes that can be used for mounting purposes. The mini breadboard has dimensions of 45 x 34 x 9 mm. It can probably be held on by brackets whether it's below or on top. For reference here's the mini breadboard: [login to view URL] And here's a bracket for it that you could consider modeling from: [login to view URL] If you can come up with a design that would hold the Arduino and/or breadboard below the platform, then potentially you could leave small holes for the wires to go through the platform rather than sending them around. Be creative on that one, as long as it's functional that placement is up to you. The stilts should actually be a fair bit shorter, since our lettuce won't grow to be very tall. I'd recommend putting the platform at about 6cm (60 mm) off the ground. That'll be close to the canopy area for the lettuce and will have enough space for the Arduino to go underneath.
