Design and Parameterization of an Electromagnet

The requirement for this project is to design of an electromagnet and create its data sheet. A spreadsheet should be created and delivered which is filled with parameters and the calculations (fully parameterized). Detailed information about requirements are as follows: Winding will be around a laminated iron core. Depth, width and height should be also parameterized by candidate. The shape of the geometry where the winding will be done must be rectangular. Detailed geometrical constraints will be provided after a principal agreement with the candidate. Number of winding and thickness of enameled copper wire will be defined and also parameterized by the candidate. Maximum weight to be pulled is 20 kg. The required amount of current and voltage should also be calculated and parameterized. A data sheet must be created containing pulling force at a certain current level from certain distance as a diagram. For instance pulling force from 1.5 mm distance should be calculated
