I have quite a number of Skype recorded interview which I need to be transcribed into UK english documents (either .doc or .pages). There will be many interviews to be transcribed. The project will last between 2 - 3 months. I would like you to bid on transcribing interviews of between 30 and 60 minutes. Some of the interviews will be slightly difficult (as the recording may not be of an excellent quality) whilst others will be very clear and therefore much easier. All will be in English. Please bid per 60 minutes blocks of recordings (this may be more than 1 interview, but will equate to 60 minutes in recording) and in Australian dollars. Please also note how long you think it will take you to transcribe the interview and return it to me. The transcription should be in UK English. I would expect a spell check to be done before sending the final document to me. I would also like a time stamp to be placed at each spot where you are unable to understand a word so that it is simple for me to find the relevant point of the recording to easily edit the document. If you would like to bid on the project, I have attached a short recording for you to transcribe so you can illustrate your skills. Prior to beginning work with me, I would need the successful Freelancer to sign an NDA which, among other things, confirms that you will delete all recordings and documents once you have completed the transcription. My bid is ca. 104AUD (plus 10% freelancer.com fees) for 60 min audio transcription in 3 days. I can charge by the document word count or by audio minutes. Charging by word count is the simplest and usually the fairest for both parties, regardless of the format or number of speakers, if the audio is basically clean. Bad audio that requires a lot of processing in order to be usable or recordings with a lot of silence will be billed at a higher per minute rate (up to 3.226AUD/min). Turnaround time is typically 3 days for an average transcript, depending on workload. Turnaround Time Discount: 10% discount for one week turnaround. 20% for two week turnaround. This discount applies to both word rate and minute rate jobs. Hello there! While English is not my first language, I believe I have ample experience and a solid grasp on its grammar. I'm a reasonably fast typist (80 WPM) and I'm used to various accents and dialects. Please do send me a file to transcribe so that I can demonstrate my abilities. Hi! I'll be happy to do the text. Usually my speed is x4-6, but it depends on the quality of the recording, the accent of the speaker and specific terminology used in the text. I would say I usually return a 1 hour audio within 24 hours (taking into account time difference and that sometimes i am not able to start immediately), but not later. I have been transcribing for a period of eight years now. I have typing speed of 80WPM which is accompanied with a 98% accuracy. I use Express Scribe for my dictations and later on convert the documents to Word documents. I can handle four hours of audio in 24hours and deliver them accurately. I'm ready to take a five minute test for your verification. I have worked on numerous files through out my experience. Hi Mate, I'm the senior bidder in this field transcription on Freelancer. 64-year-old American transcription specialist who has spent the last eight years or so as chief transcription editor for three large American-based transcription companies and have as part of my work role given regular workshops to transcribers on how to improve their accuracy. I reside in the Philippines and my time zone is close to yours. My standard of accuracy is 99% for all work that passes through my skills. That means you will not have to spend hours and hours proofing and editing; making the finished transcript essentially 'publish-ready' if so desired. My rate for this highest level of professionalism is $45US per Audio Hour. A typical Audio Hour worth of transcript takes approximately 5 hours to complete and in some instances you can have the turnaround time in less than 24 hours from receipt.
