UPS is hiring individuals to work in part-time Data Entry and Warehouse positions. This work requires applicants to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. This is a physical, sometimes fast-paced position that involves lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Part-time employees usually work three to five hours a day, Monday through Friday. UPS part-time employees also receive an attractive benefits package. Please note that these opportunities are part-time only working approximately 17- 20 hours per week. Employees can expect to take home between $140.00 and $170.00 each week after deductions have been taken for taxes, etc. UPS is an equal opportunity employer. I live in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and just left college. I'm available all the time and have good computer and communication skills that will more than definitely get this job done. I also frequently go to the gym and have no body issues that will slow me down when lifting those heavy packages you that may be included.
