I would recommend using Power Query, a little known built-in (free) Excel tool to automatically upload, transform, consolidate and load the external Excel file data into an Excel file. Depending on the required computation we can use an Excel formula, Pivot tables or Macros to arrive at the desired result. As you have not provided exact description, I can make following guesses as to the nature of work: 1) I suppose you need to pull relevant data from different worksheets within different Excel files and put it at appropriate locations within the SINGLE Excel file. I presume that the data that needs to be pulled is located at IDENTICAL LOCATIONS within the different worksheets. By identical locations, I mean row/column offsets are the same for each worksheet. Am I correct? 2) Is this collection/consolidation of data periodic or is this a “one-off” job? I mean do you wish VBA code to create a new Excel file each time it runs or do you want to append to the data already present in existing Excel file?
