I will do all the processing with Python and deliver all the outcomes as you wish. the main benefit of it is that it will provide you the wide range of data exploring and visualization. It will be easy to merge the data without disturbing the original data, and it also provide lots of 3rd party tools to work with data. as you describe there are location based data so, it would be a great option to present it in Heat Map as per the activity. we can grab the chunks of data on the bases of different time stamps and temperature ranges.
