I have 4 separate GIS layers: Boundaries of Residential Parcels (polygons), the Locations of various public facilities (points), the street centerlines of the city (line), and the 30 m DEM. I would like someone to calculate the nearest distances between each parcel and the facilities (using the streets, NOT straight line distances). I would also like know the average slope of the path he/she would be taking if they were walking. The distances and the average slope will have to be added to the attribute table fo the parcels.

From my knowledge and previous experience for similar projects, a network dataset will be created for this purpose with all attributes, data to find the nearest distance between each parcel and the facilities using network analysis. By combining the slope data from the DEM raster and make some analysis to find the average slope for each route (path). Finally the all the results will be in layer and map presented in an easy and nice way.

I will join all the data and calculate of distance each facility to facility and I will calculate time that need to got each facility if someone walk, run, or ride bike. I have capabilities to use arcgis or cad and envi, to processing DEM with overlay each boundaries and point that you had planted
