Hi,
I am looking for someone to develop a short animation of between 1-1.5 mins
The animation will actually be a number of sequential segments of 15-20sec duration.
These segments will be interspersed amongst still images and live footage of a musical performance to tell a story of a journey
The segments will all be on the same theme but won't have to follow each other seamlessley due to the other media being between them. The animation segments will be used at the start of new part of the story. The whole performance will be between 5-8 mins long
The style will need to be in a hand drawn style or simulated style. Use this link as a reference point. [login to view URL]
Obviously the sample is a professionally produced animation but that is the style that is required.
The theme is a small boat that is initiatlly lost at sea until it sees a distant light
In each section as it is heading towards the light, the sky and horizon becomes lighter and the outline of a land area begins to form
At one point other boats of all different sizes appear from the left and right and travel with the boat
After the other boats join the first boat, they are all tossed in a storm but stay afloat and together
At the end, the boat grounds on a sandy beach with palm trees and a bright light is shining from down a path between the trees
As the view moves towards the light the light enevelopes the screen and turns to white
Would need to be provided in AVI, Quicktime and Flash
Would need to be provided as an avi and in Flash format
