Design T-shirts, hats & more for professional race car driver/clothing brand

I need several different looks for men and women's t-shirts, women's tank tops, hats, & polo's to start with. Over time, we're going to add everything from purses, backpacks, shoes, shorts, pants, jackets & more. As such, we're looking for a long-term designer that can truly help shape the brand from the ground level. The name of this new company is J2chrome. The "J" stands for the first letter of our celebrity/pro race driver's first name. The "2" stands for 2.0, as in new & improved. And "chrome" is indicative of his personal brand message. Chrome shines when the light hits it, it doesn't blend in, it stands out and makes everything around it better. (at least in our opinion) Another important consideration when designing is this driver had a major career setback that many thought would prevent him ever racing again. Five years ago, he was given the choice to keep racing if he would compromise his integrity. He chose his integrity and the sport punished him in a big way. 5 years later, he's not only racing again, he's racing with a vengeance & with major sponsors behind him in a whole new racing series. He also has a reality show in the works and a new clothing brand soon to launch. Therefore, we're partial to anything graphically or using text that reflects his personal ethos of "never give up" or "not for sale" or "fight for your life" or anything along those lines. Design #1 - Solid color with our logo on the front and/or back and possibly some additional graphics that don't detract from the simple look we're going for. Design #2 - Clean yet upscale look, as if apple or google were involved. This shirt will be very high-quality so the design needs to take that into consideration. We'd like to see our logo or some type of corresponding graphic placed in a unique way on either the sleeves, collar, base of the shirt. The main logo should still be prominently displayed on the front and/or back but we're wanting something to give the shirt a more detailed look. Design #3 - The final design is the one that's going to be aggressive and edgy but NOT cookie-cutter. Just because this is for a race team/driver doesn't mean we want to see checkered flags. We're looking for more along the lines of what Monster or Red Bull would produce. These shirts will also be very high-end thus the need to stand out in a tasteful way. Each month, we'd like to have 1 limited edition shirt that we only carry until it sells out then we don't sell it again. These shirts should push the limits of unique and of course, always integrate our color pallet. These are the shirts where we can get really creative and integrate elements that are reflective of racing, speed, no limits, passion, daring, integrity, unique, etc... This is also the shirt where we can integrate his brand message as described above such as "never give up", etc... Same concept for the hats and polo's; 3 looks/color palettes. With this driver, we have the latitude to be edgy, have fun, and capitalize on that angle. Lastly and most importantly, because of the name of our brand, we want there to always have some element of what appears to be chrome on anything with our label. This doesn't mean we want the entire logo or graphics on the front or back to be solid chrome, it just means that somewhere on the item, which could be small and obscure, to be chrome in appearance. For example, on a t-shirt, this could be accomplished by integrating a simple chrome graphic running vertically on the side from the bottom. Maybe the word chrome could be in small cursive on the sleeve, collar, base, etc... Just making some suggestions of the types of looks we're considering. Again, we're not wanting Ed Hardy looking shirts in order to be edgy and bold, we believe elements of our name and logo can accomplish this for us.
