I need an 8.5"x11.5" poster. I will upload 2 Word files: one has the text and basic instructions, the other shows what the top logo (which is just text and a jpg) should look like and also shows the logos that must be at the bottom of the page.
Our visual style is clean and simple. No curvy lines or radiused boxes, just straight lines and sharp 90-degree angles. I will upload a brochure that illustrates our style, and I need this poster to look like it was designed by the same person.
Fonts should be Garamond and Gotham. I have shown which fonts to use for each text element in the poster text document (but I used Avenir instead of Gotham in the Word doc). You can experiment with different font colors, but the top "logo" (with the hawk bug) should be black.
In general, try to use colors similar to those in the sample brochure.
I will also upload several photos. There is a lot of text, so photos may have to be faded in the background. Or just use one photo -- that's up to you. The main thing is to make it elegant but eye-catching, with information clearly laid out. (The photos are named with the photo credit, which should be in very small type reversed out of the photo(s). Ignore the numbers in parentheses in the photo credits.
The sooner you can do this, the better. It would be great if I could see a first draft tomorrow morning my time (US Pacific Time, I'm near Seattle) and we could do one revision by early afternoon.
I would like to see a pdf file for the first look and get an .indd file as the final product. This will be reproduced using various printers, so if you make the background or photos full-bleed, don't put any text within a half-inch margin from the edges.
