Designing a Word Template for Research into Action Briefs

We have over two million supporters worldwide and raised 1.6 billion dollars to reach more children than ever before, through programmes in health, nutrition, education, protection and child rights, also in times of humanitarian crises. With the support of the C&A Foundation, Save the Children has been implementing Disaster Risk Reduction projects in five countries and has conducted a 3-year long research programme that builds robust knowledge and an evidence base to inform Disaster Risk Reduction programming and deliver results at scale. One of the utilisation products of this research programme is the Research into Action brief. These briefs are geared for practitioners to quickly and easily pick up the learnings from the research programme, and apply it to their own work to improve outcomes for children and communities. We are seeking a designer who can update an existing Word template for this brief and create a user-friendly, accessible template that can easily accommodate users to add text (including in other non-Roman alphabet languages) but will still retain its design, colour, and spacing. The deliverables of this project will be: 1. an improved Word template (approx 8 pages) for a Research into Action Brief based on an existing one (to be provided to the freelancer) that accommodates user input fields without changing its format 2. an improved Word template (approx 2 pages) for a Research into Action Brief Summary based on an existing one (to be provided to the freelancer) that accommodates user input fields without changing its format The timeline will be before 31 Dec 2018.
