Graphic designer Expectations/Responsibilities Game interface design - icons, menu & pop-up backgrounds Gameplay background & arenas - Matte painting (or painting/drawing on canvas and re-touching in photoshop) Understand the game world, gameplay and mood of the game and create a beautiful and consistent user interface and artwork in a timely manner Software skills required: Photoshop, Illustrator Project description: Gaming for change As you read this, millions of children are dropping out of school in India without the skills they need to succeed in our ever-changing economy Going to School & Gida competed and received a grant from the Google’s Global Impact Awards to create open source mobile and desktop games that teach critical entrepreneurship skills to India’s children. Maya is an intrepid young girl who is taking on India’s biggest problems and solving them by playing a game. Each game teaches a unique entrepreneurial skill.
