Holiday Card

Our practice/company Tri-State Orthopaedics (TSO) is looking for a graphic designer to work on a holiday card project for our 10 orthopaedic surgeons. We have a photographer and need a graphic designer to create the practice’s holiday card (mailed to 2000+ physicians and clients). We have several cards from prior years listed on our website that you can review to get a general idea. However, this year’s theme will be much less complex that last years or prior years. Website link: [login to view URL] We have a photo shoot scheduled for Thursday, October 25th at Jay Verno Studios on the Southside. Our theme is more simplistic this year and we have a defined vision for the layout. We need a graphic designer to meet with us once pre-shoot to do a draft layout of the card so we can share with the photographer on shoot day. Then the designer will run with it from there working with us to complete the card. It’s an aggressive few weeks on the timeline between the 10/25 shoot through 11/9 when we sign off on the card and it gets to the printer. The designer isn’t required to be present on the 25th but it’s encouraged to attend to ensure we get the right shots to make the design portion much more efficient. Graphic Design Holiday Card • Work with practice to get preliminary sketch/layout 5 days prior to the photo shoot date • Photo retouching as necessary • Design and placement of elements and photos per design spec • Allow 2 major initial revisions and 3 minor finishing/revision - TSO will approve the final design composition • Stock photos/elements if purchased at cost to client with advance approval • High-resolution final designs delivered to printer of client's choosing • The designed card must be electronic printer friendly • Format also to post on website (in format requested by web administrator) **BUDGET - looking to stay $50/hour or less**
