I need a programmer that can help me updating, creating and develop on my CMS. Its a CMS that is manly used for sharing photos and movies on a website. There is an admin area that I have access to from where I can add photos, movies and other stuff. User end see all I update. What I need is a programmer that can update / develop on the "Add photo set" and "Add movie". This is the options I'm looking for: Photo set uploading: At the moment the process works this way: 1. You click on "Add photo set" in the admin area 2. You enter a gallery name, choose a category, set the display date and enter a description and click Next (See attachment: Add photo set 1) . 3. the CMS script now create a folder on the server where you are asked to upload the photo files usig a FTP program (see attachment: Add photo set 2) You now upload all the photo files using a FTP program. I will give you access to the CMS so you can test this part yourself to see how it works now, if you are interested in the work. Now what I need to be done/updated with this part is 2 options: 1. A FTP upload options as there already is - just updated 2. An upload option as you see in FaceBook when you create a gallery on your FaceBook profile. 1st part - FTP upload: This part is already working, but I'm facing some problems with it. If you upload photos bigger then 1900 x 1900 or a size bigger then (about) 2mb I get an error message / blank page and the photo set is not add to the website. I also often face a 500 error message. I Think it has something to do with the module the CMS use is outdated, but I don't know. I need it to be able to handle ALL size of photo no matter image size or MB size. In the config file there is an setting says: //Image Settings $maxwidth = "7360"; $maxheight = "4912"; $thumbmaxwidth = "150"; $thumbmaxheight = "300"; $filesize = "350"; //kb This part is changeable for each site using the CMS script (Comes from a "normal" config file!) But this part seams not to be working. since I just get an blank page when try to add the photos. The best would be to try test it yourself. Anyway I think it all needs to be recode to be up to date. Testing the existing CMS will give you an idea of the output and how it should work. 2th part - Add gallery in "Facebook mode" - or something like that! This needs to be coded from the scratch but still use the sittings that we set up in the config file showed above. When you want to add a photo gallery you choose in what way you want to do itin the admin area. By using FTP or the "FaceBook" way. Movie uploading: Right now when we upload a movie, we need to upload a movie file and a photo. The photo will be the thumb for the movie that will be displayed on the website. If we don't upload the thumb and only upload the movie there is an image showing that its a movie. Beside that the script notify the size of the movie and that is displayed on the website so users can see the size of the movie. This part needs to be updated so 1 of the options will be proceed when adding a movie: 1: If you upload a movie and a thumb that will be showed in the admin area and on the website. 2: If you upload a movie and NO thumb the CMS auto generates a thumb from the movie (just like on YouTube) The script needs to be ready to handle all type of movie files: WMV, Mp4, FLV...etc And I still need that the script can read the size of the movie in MB and also, if possible how long time the movie is.
