As a construction company we currently have a Estimation Software (think old windows software). That when you fill out the correct fields it's able to create the layout of the job as a drawing, break down the exact materials needed for the job as well as the pricing for the job. Where this project gets interesting and more complex is that we're looking to build it into the [login to view URL] platform, possibly using heroku, in order for it to automatically interact with the objects in Salesforce. I think we might be a couple of months out timeframe for when we wanted to get started however was curious what everyone thinks the ballpark pricing for the project would be as well as a ballpark timeframe. there's really no preference in coding languages but a few possibilities would be python, php, Ruby, etc.
