Hi guys, I'm putting together a limited-run comic book for a medical company here in Australia. I'm looking for flats/colourist to help bring the story to life. I'll be writing the comic (fully) once we have an assigned artist and know final numbers. Don't want to write too much about storyline and give away IP, but it will be a twist on vampires based upon indigenous mythology and modern medicine. - PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU'RE INTERESTED. PROJECT STARTS SOME TIME IN DECEMBER, WITH DEADLINE YET TO BE SET. - Artwork style is hyper important, so please check out the references. Lead characters need to be aspirational, but really expressive and likeable. (Like Vampironica cover reference). Action and movement are critical. Will be a mix of coloured cells on white and full colour spreads. Aimed at boys, 12-18, so a the lead characters are a headstrong/cool male and a modern/cool/sexy female lead. Ensuring they are brought to life 'in the right spirit' is an important part of the brief. Will be commissioned on a project fee. If you love a storytelling with a purpose, can collaborate well with a shit-hot writer and have a kick-ass style please reach out. I'll be checking this post regularly.
