Get some hand drawn maps for my book

Hi there, I need 6 maps drawn for a book I’ve just finished writing. One overview map, then 5 smaller maps that drill down into this area. To start, I’d like to get just one map done and if that goes well, go ahead and get the other done. A bit of background: I have written a book, a book about my own experiences traveling through Papua New Guinea. The book has 5 parts separated geographically. I would like the maps to be clear to read, not too old and faded. They are there primarily as a guide for the readers, not as decoration. That said, I want them to look professional and well drawn. Stylewise, the book is full of adventure so something along those lines… I have compiled a small package consisting of: - 5 rough sketches of the maps themselves as a (very) rough starting point - some photographs from the trip as inspiration for the illustrations in the maps I'm totally open to your creative direction, the sketches, the photos, the book... these are all there just to provide inspiration. Feel free to totally ignore them. Tech Specs: I am planning on uploading the book into the kindle store, so 300dpi and 1448x1072 (or thereabouts) is the desired format. Portrait is also preferred, where it makes sense, so that the reader doesn't have to tilt their book 90 degrees to read the map. Colour is also preferred, but it must still be readable with 16 shades of grey for the older greyscale kindles. I hope that wasn’t too overwhelming! Looking forward to hearing from you!
