Help Me About An Error Related To Spring Request Mappings For a Java Web project

I have to update the technologies (spring, hibernate, maven etc.) of an existing web project at work. Although I made the necessary changes I am stuck at one point. I finished the maven configuration, spring request mapping annotations etc. The project starts up, in the console I see the mappings are done to the controller methods but the controller methods are not found when called from jsp pages for some reason. We are using IBM WAS 8.5.
I need to make some other design changes however since I am stuck on this problem I cannot continue and I do not have anyone who may help me. I can not directly share the code cause it does not belong to me. But I need to discuss and share information with an expert who may fix the bug in the current configuration with me.
