I want an app that enables me easily collect the sentences or phrases that I liked while reading a document on web, and remind them to me 1 day after they are registered. Whenever I highlight a text on web and right click, appearing list should include “add this sentence to my note list” option. Alternatively, we can do this through a google chrome extension: whenever we click on the extension icon, the next highlighted text will be registered to the system. Each entry will have some features: an entry ID, the web address that it was copied from, the date of registry, reminder time. The default reminder time for each entry is the next day after they registered, however, I can modify this later. Right after an entry is created, a notification will pop up where I can change the details. If I don't change anything in 3 seconds, the notification will disappear so that I can continue reading the article without being disturbed at all. In future, I will need an additional iPhone app that is compatible with this application, where I can make entries from my phone as well. I'm telling this in case it is useful to think ahead when deciding which programming language will be used. Let me know if anything is not clear. Thanks!

Hi, I think a chrome extension would be a perfect use case for your requirements. Although we can use a standalone web application connected to the Chrome extension so that you can use it on mobile devices. Actually choice is totally yours. Hi there, Went through your application requirements and I think I have the skill-sets to accomplish the same. Implementation Proposal: 1. We can build a Chrome extension for this, wherein after highlighting a text / phrase on the web-page, clicking on the extension's toolbar icon will show a small dialog in which, the highlighted text and its other metadata (next reminder, url this text is copied from, any other info). 2. The user can edit any of the info right then, if needed. 3. Then just click a "submit/add" button to save this entry to the backend system. I have built many extensions, so I am well versed with getting this completed. Queries: 1. Do we have the backend REST APIs to create / edit / Delete / fetch the added entries from the database? If we do, then this will be easy to accomplish in the mentioned timelines. Idea/Feature Suggestion from my side: If we do get to work with each other and go down the Extension route, an interesting and useful feature to build in this extension would be: On clicking of the extension's icon, we show a list of previously added entries in a grid. User should be able to modify/delete any of those entries in single click. I understand that I'm a new freelancer so you might be anxious to give it to a newbie. But rest assured, I have done enough programming to get this done and deliver a quality product to you. Would love to work with you on this. Hope to hear back from you. Cheers.
